DAY 9: The Language of Spirit: Signs

Welcome to Day 9. Yesterday, we turned our radio dial up. Today, we learn what to listen for.

If you are waiting for your loved one to appear in a puff of smoke and say, "Hello, I am fine," you will be waiting a long time. That takes an immense amount of energy—like trying to lift a car.

Instead, spirits speak in the language of Subtlety and Symbols.

Because they are energy, it is much easier for them to nudge existing energy than to create something new. They manipulate small things in your physical world to say, "I am here."

Common Signs Include:

• Nature: A bird that sits unusually close to you. A butterfly that lands on you. A specific animal appearing at an odd time. (Nature has no "resistance"—animals and plants are naturally connected to Source, so they are easy for spirits to work with).

• Objects: Feathers (white or colored) appearing in your house. Coins (pennies, dimes) found in strange places.

• Electricity: Lights flickering, toys turning on by themselves (spirits are energy; electricity is energy—it's their playground).

• Scents: Suddenly smelling their perfume, cigarette smoke, or favorite food when no one else is around.

The Rule of Thumb: If you see something and your immediate first thought is "That's them!", trust that. The doubt ("Oh, it's just a coincidence") comes from your brain seconds later. The intuition comes first. The doubt comes second. Trust the first flash.

Action (The 'How'):

Today, we are going to open the channel of communication. We are going to ask.

Action: The Sign Request

1. Go to your Sacred Space. Light your candle.

2. Talk to them. Say, "[Name], I am learning to hear you. I know you are around. Please send me a sign that I can understand."

3. Be Specific (Optional): You can ask for something specific if you like, but keep it simple. "Please show me a yellow flower" or "Please show me a butterfly."

4. Let it Go: This is the hard part. You cannot stare at every bush waiting for a butterfly. You have to "place the order" and then walk away. Trust that they heard you.

5. Start a "Signs Log": In the back of your journal, create a page called "My Signs."

   • If you have already received signs in the past (dreams, smells, songs), write them down now! Seeing them on paper reminds your brain that this is real.

Note: Signs operate on "Spirit Time," not Amazon Prime time. It might come today, or in three days. Keep your eyes open, but don't stress.
