DAY 18: Supporting Their Journey: The Great Release
Week 3: The Practice of Healing

Welcome to Day 18. You have done the deep, courageous work of forgiveness. You have cleared the heavy energy of anger and guilt. The anchors are being lifted, one by one.
Today, we are going to perform the single most profound and loving act of this entire journey. It is what all this work has been leading up to.
I call it "The Great Release."
Remember in Week 1, we talked about how our heavy grief can act as an "anchor," (Day 4) and how our loved ones, out of pure love for us, might "linger" or "worry" rather than continuing their journey to the Source (Day 6)?
They are waiting. They are waiting for one, simple, beautiful signal from us. They are waiting to know that we are going to be okay.
"The Great Release" is our conscious, loving act of "letting go" of our need for them. It is the moment we shift our love from "Please don't leave me. I can't live without you," to... "I love you. Go. Be at peace. I am strong, and I will be okay. You don't need to worry about me."
This is not "goodbye." Your connection is eternal. This is not "losing" them. This is liberating them.
This is the ultimate, selfless "I love you." It is the act of love that says, "Your peace and your soul's journey are more important to me than my own desire to keep you here."
This is the "Permission Slip" you give them. And it is the one they have been waiting for. This act allows them to fully and joyfully merge with the Source, the light, the Moksha they have earned.
Action (The 'How'):
Today's action is a beautiful, guided meditation. Please find a quiet 10-15 minutes where you will not be disturbed.
Action: The "Sending Love & Release" Meditation
Get Comfortable: Sit in your Sacred Space or lie down. Close your eyes.
Ground Yourself: Take three slow, deep breaths. Breathe in peace. Breathe out all tension.
Visualize Them: Bring your loved one to mind. As you did on Day 4, see them in their healthiest,
happiest, most vibrant form. See them smiling, radiant, and full of light.
Send Your Love: Imagine that "Golden Cord" from Day 4, connecting your heart to theirs. It's clean, light, and shimmering. Send a huge wave of pure, unconditional love—all your best memories, all your joy, all your gratitude—straight from your heart to theirs. Feel the love.
Visualize the Light: Now, imagine that behind them, a beautiful, warm, irresistible light begins to glow. It is the most peaceful, loving, golden-white light you can imagine. This is The Source. This is their "Home."
Speak the Words (In Your Head): As they become aware of this light, speak to them from your heart. Tell them:
"I love you so, so much."
"I am going to be okay. I am strong, and I am healing."
"You don't need to worry about me anymore. I am releasing you from my pain."
"Look. Your peace is waiting. It's okay. Go. Be free."
Watch Them Turn: See them turn away from you (with a final, loving smile) and begin to walk toward that beautiful light.
Cheer Them On: This is the most important part. As they walk, do not feel sad. Feel proud. Feel that selfless, expansive love. You are "cheering them on." You are celebrating their liberation. Feel the joy and relief for them.
The Merge: Watch as they walk into the light and become one with it. Feel the profound sense of peace, completion, and "rightness" that settles over everything. They are home.
Check the Cord: Now, bring your awareness back to your own heart. The Golden Cord is still there. It's still connected to you. But it's not pulling or heavy. It's just a light, shimmering connection of love. The entanglement is gone, but the connection is eternal.
Return: Take a deep breath. Feel the peace in your own body. When you're ready, slowly open your eyes.
Journal: Take a few minutes to write down what you felt. It's okay if you cried—this is often tears of relief and love, not just sadness. Acknowledge what you have just done.
You are a hero. This was the work. I'll see you tomorrow.
