DAY 22: What is "The Source"?
Week 4: The Butterfly Phase (Integration & Living Aligned)
11/16/20252 min read

Welcome to Week 4. You have done the deep, excavating work of healing. You have faced the shadows, cleansed the connection, and released your loved one on their journey.
This week is about your next chapter.
Your grief was the chrysalis—the dark, necessary, transformative container. Your healing work was the metamorphosis. This week, we learn to be the butterfly.
The "Butterfly Phase" is about integrating your loss and your healing into a new, purposeful, and beautiful life. It's about living differently.
And the key to this new life is understanding "The Source."
We've used this word a lot (and Moksha, from Day 5). What is it? "The Source" is just a word for the un-wordable.
You can call it God.
You can call it the Universe.
You can call it Love.
You can call it Consciousness, Life, or Home.
It's the vast, intelligent, loving "ocean" of energy that all of life comes from and all of life returns to.
Remember our analogy from Day 5? We are all "drops" of water. The Source is the "ocean." Your loved one, having completed their journey (which you helped with on Day 18), has now merged back into that ocean.
Are they "gone"? No. The drop is not gone. It has just become the ocean. They are not a separate, tiny, lonely "ghost." They are now part of the vast, infinite, all-loving energy of All That Is. They are everywhere.
This is the most beautiful part: By aligning our lives with the Source, we get "on the same wavelength" as our loved ones.
The new goal is no longer to "pull them down" to us. The goal is to "rise up" to meet them. When you align with Source, you are automatically aligned with them, because that is where they now live.
Action (The 'How'):
Today, we are going to make this big concept personal. It doesn't matter what "experts" call it. It only matters what it feels like to you.
Action: Defining My Source
Take out your journal. This is not a test. There are no right or wrong answers. This is about your feeling.
Answer these simple prompts:
What word feels best for me? (God, Universe, Love, Life, Spirit, The Ocean... just pick one for now that feels comfortable).
Where do I feel this "Source" energy (this peace, this connection, this 'bigness') most in my life?
(e.g., "When I'm walking in the forest.")
("When I'm listening to that one piece of music.")
("When I'm watching my children sleep.")
("In my Sacred Space, when it's quiet.")
("When I am being creative.")
My 'Source' feels like: (Just list 3-5 words)
(e.g., "Peace." "Warmth." "Love." "Stillness." "Home.")
That's it. You have just created your own personal "map" to the Source. Those things you just listed? That is your new compass.
I'll see you tomorrow.
